The Utah Coalition Against Pornography (UCAP) was founded in 2000 under the direction of The Most Reverend George H. Niederauer, former Bishop of the Utah Catholic Dioceses, and Steven D. Kohlert, former Public Affairs Chairman for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. UCAP is a state-wide organization represented by individuals and organizations who promote community standards in the fight against pornography. UCAP serves individuals, parents, spouses, youth leaders, community leaders, ecclesiastical leaders, and community organizations.
