The Sexual Exploitation Industry: A Seamless and Toxic Continuum
OVERVIEW: This presentation will explain how pornography commercializes and pathologizes sexuality while promoting beliefs that are unrelentingly false and toxic.  The sexual exploitation industry teaches these beliefs in a potent way, and as with any form of education, the impact can be massive and far reaching. The consequences of this education are on a seamless continuum from prostitute Halloween costumes for children to the criminal act of rape.  While sex was intended to be a sacred and central act in human cultures, we are currently paying the price for the way the sexual exploitation industry degrades its healthy purposes.
